The GC
eLearning Layout
Graphik Connexions
does not believe in just cutting and pasting
content from old PowerPoint presentations or
user guides onto a page or into a module and
calling it eLearning. We take the time to
analyze, break down, and convert the
information provided into proper eLearning
format, conducive to learning in the online
environment.
We begin by
introducing the learning concept and
providing learner objectives for the module
or section. Then we generally ask the learner to
complete a simple pre-test of their current
knowledge on the subject by checking off the
appropriate boxes. Next the concept is
presented and explained with examples and
using interactivity, scripts and scenarios.
Learners will often be required to reflect
on past experiences and type their opinions
and thoughts into a text box.
After the concept is
presented a post-test can be used so the
learner can see how they have progressed
since the beginning of the lesson.
The final phase of
learning is the Assessments. These will
include tests/quizzes such as Multiple
Choice, True/False, Drag and Drop, scenario
analyses, and even games such as Jeopardy
and Jigsaw puzzles. Assessment selections are entirely up to the
customer.

The GC
Process
Once
again,
Graphik Connexions
works off of the principle that E-Learning
should be focused on the
Learner. From Concept to
Assessment, the Learners’ needs should be
most important, along with their
knowledge-level and their individual job
tasks.
This
unique diagram details how the stages of
e-learning development intertwine with
the project deliverables on an
e-Learning project. Although slightly
different, our User Guide development
stages also include learner objectives, an
introduced concept, and an activity.
Every project begins with a TNA
or Training Needs Analysis. It
can be done remotely or on-site and
includes the gathering of documentation,
interviews, evaluations, and much more.

the next stages in the process.
